Who we are

Bobo is an independent app, made and operated in Poland by its maker (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data processed through the Bobo app and this website. You can reach us anytime at the email address in the Contact section below.

What we collect

Account data: your email address and authentication credentials (or the identifier provided by Sign in with Apple/Google), used solely to create and secure your account.

Child data you enter: your child’s name, birth date, optional photo, and the entries you log: feedings, sleep, activities, diapers, medicine, milestones, and notes. You decide what to enter; all of it can be edited or deleted by you at any time.

Purchase data: if you subscribe to Premium, our payment partners process the transaction. We never see or store your card details.

Diagnostics & analytics: basic, non-advertising technical data (such as crash reports and app version) and privacy-focused usage statistics (which features are used, never the content of your entries), used only to keep the app working reliably and to improve it.

What we never do

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Ever.

We do not show third-party advertising or share your data with ad networks or data brokers.

We do not use your child’s data to train AI models. Bobo’s predictions are computed from your own entries, for your own account, to serve you alone.

How we use your data

To provide the app: storing your entries, syncing them across your devices, and computing your personal predictions and patterns.

To run your subscription: validating purchases and restoring them on new devices.

To support you: answering messages you send us.

Our legal bases under the GDPR are performance of contract (providing the app), legitimate interest (security, support, diagnostics), and consent where required (e.g. the Android waitlist email).

Where your data lives & who helps us

Your data is stored with Google Firebase (authentication and database), encrypted in transit and at rest. Subscription state is processed by RevenueCat, payments are handled entirely by Apple, and anonymous usage statistics are processed by PostHog. These processors act under data-processing agreements and may process data in the EU and the United States under appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

Children’s privacy

Bobo is an app for parents and guardians: adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children as users. Information about your child is entered by you, the parent or guardian, and remains under your control: you can edit or permanently delete it whenever you wish.

Your rights & deleting your data

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account (in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account) permanently removes your account and all associated data from our servers.

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you additionally have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Retention

We keep your data only while your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is removed from production systems immediately and from encrypted backups within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.
